Tree risk assessment is conducted by a qualified arborist. It is appropriate in cases where a developer or project manager is unclear as to the level of risk posed by a tree, and in which safety issues are a primary concern. It is also appropriate when a customer wishes to document the risks associated with a tree, and develop a strategy to manage and prioritize those risks responsibly.
There are three levels of risk assessment: 1, 2, and 3. The level of assessment will depend on the expectations of the customer, and the intensity of the inspection. Most risk assessments we perform are Level 2.
